ABOUT PWN
PWN was founded on the premise that "together we can
achieve more" and it embodies the philosophy of our organization: women working together to grow successfully in their careers. We also strive to help women in mind, body and health. We've had speakers from Dale Carnegie, a TV actress to a yoga instructor and everything in between.
This organization does more than instruct, it fosters friendships and alliances that have lasted for years. Unlike other networking organizations, we do not exclude any profession. We encourage anyone to join.
BENEFITS OF JOINING• Use the Membership List to host an event, discussion group or seminar and invite PWN members. PWN members support each other and the membership list is an excellent resource.
• Learn something new. PWN provides wonderful opportunities for learning new skills in leadership, marketing, team building, etc. The organization provides a nurturing environment for learning and practicing skills.
• Volunteering is an opportunity and studies have shown that people who volunteer in an organization, receive more business opportunities. Volunteer to help plan the annual conference, deliver items to the Family Resource Center, greet people at meetings, help with registration, or become a member of the executive committee. PWN needs you.
• PWN members introduce themselves at every meeting.
Bring your business cards and promotional material. Opportunities for networking with other members are given at every meeting.
• Spotlight your business at one of the meetings. During every regular meeting, One member is given 10 minutes to highlight their businesses. The spotlight offers an opportunity to tell about goods and services that your business has to offer.
